HORSE RIDING

Saddle Creek Adventures takes pride in their well-conditioned, happy horses! Book for an unforgettable horse riding experience in the peaceful countryside, with beautiful mountain scenery and lovely bush trails. Rides go out every day on calm, obedient and well-trained trail horses that will not run away with you. Beginners, children, families and experienced riders are all welcome. Trained and enthusiastic guides accompany all rides and will ensure that rider and horse are correctly matched. They will also explain the basic commands and riding techniques. Beginners will be assisted throughout the ride while more experienced riders will have plenty of opportunity to trot and canter along the route. The emphasis is on safe and enjoyable rides for all.

QUAD BIKING

These tough four wheelers, also known as All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s), are a great way to get out into the country side and away from the crowds. Quad Biking is an exciting adrenaline filled adventure that is not hard to master. Trails take you out of your comfort zone for a 30 minute, 45 minute or 1 hour trails through bush and mountains and sometimes through mud and puddles dependant on rainfall. There are quads suitable for kiddies, tweens, teens and adults. Experienced, friendly and safety conscious guides will assist with familiarizing yourself with the quads before your adventure begins. GO KARTING

Arrive and drive OR book for an exciting Grand Prix package. Go for something different – loads of fun for every occasion. Whether you are a Go-Karting pro that thrives on adrenalin and the thrill of being first across the finish line, or if you have never before been behind the wheel of a Go-Kart, our outdoor dirt track is sure to please everyone! Join us in the pits for a safety briefing before climbing aboard your own Go-Kart. There are plenty of corners and straight sections to challenge your driving skills. Comfortable, shady seating areas are available for spectators and cheerleaders.

ARCHERY

Fancy yourself roaming through Nottingham Forest and supporting the poor like Robin Hood? Perhaps you see yourself as the hero in Hunger Games, whichever thought appeals to you, remember that a bow and arrows are involved. Archery is one of the few remaining ancient arts practiced today, and you too can try your hand at it. Compete against your team, family, partner , or friends. Great fun for all ages , male or female.

HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARIS

BALLOON SAFARI WITH CHAMPAGNE AND BUFFET BREAKFAST Enjoy a majestic 1 hour balloon flight, finishing off with a 5-star buffet breakfast with all the bells and whistles   BALLOON AND HORSE SAFARI Get ready for your 60-minute balloon flight.   The thrill is indescribable.   You’re sipping fine champagne while hovering gently above the tree tops of the beautiful Magalies River Valley.

LASER CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING

This is a great relaxing and fun activity that doesn’t require any special fitness or athletic ability. Its a unique experience that few people have had the opportunity to enjoy. As you set your sights to the sky, a disk is released from a launcher. Participants then test their shooting skills by firing modified shotguns high tech infrared laser at the target. A score board generates the shotgun “bang” whenever the trigger is pulled. If on target, the sound of a cracking disk is reproduced over the score board which signals your success. In each round 5 people can shoot at the same target launched from a number of different positions at various speeds and angles. Each participant gets 40 shots at 20 clays. This is the very best in interactive activities and highly recommended for groups and teams as well as individual bookings. Regardless of age or skill, you will train your trigger finger and compete on a level playing field with this, fun, safe laser twist on clay pigeon shooting. Throughout the activity, team members are constantly rotating and having a go. Everyone gets to cheer and the looks on people’s faces when they make a direct hit are priceless. Victory relies on skill, a little bit of luck and heaps of fun

SCENIC HELICOPTER

40 MINUTE SCENIC HELICOPTER FLIGHT WITH 1 HOUR HORSE TRAIL AND CHAMPAGNE BUSHVELD PICNIC FOR 2 PEOPLE

Experience the thrill of a helicopter flight, following the river through the valleys and gorges to Hartebeespoort dam and along the Mountain range. Land at Saddlecreek for a 1 hour horse trail with a beautiful picnic set up including blanket, ice bucket of bubbly, and a wicker basket packed with goodies. Return to Helicopter for a flight back to Krugersdorp airport over the Cradle of Humankind, Krugersdorp Game reserve and Lion and Rhino Park where Giraffe, buffalo, zebra, and lions can be viewed

SPA FACILITY

The Saddle Creek Adventures thatched spa, combined with adventure activities, allows some to relax while other more swayed towards activity can go wild ! or book one of the very popular packages which combine relax and adrenalin. Packages include massages and treatments in a tranquil spa or set up under the shade of trees in a beautiful garden.

Group events can be very active or toned down to include the “not so active” participants. Packages include scrumptious menus, relaxing spa treatments, competitive Go-Karting and Archery, adventurous quad trails and scenic horse rides (weight limit: 100kg). There is something for everyone.
